AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLE
The Australian Labradoodle (ALD) is a happy, playful and active breed. ALD does not belong to the breeds under the FCI, but has it's own international organizations and registries. We at Löfkulla ALD belong to two different organizations: the ALAA (Australian Labradoodle Association America) and the WALA (Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association). The Australian Labradoodle is not just a mix of a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle, but has been bred as it's own registrated breed for decades, with six different base breeds (Poodle, Labrador Retriever, English and American Cocker Spaniel and Irish Water Spaniel) and traceable pedigrees.
THREE SIZES
Australian Labradoodles come in three different sizes:

MINI: 35–43 cm, 7–13 kg
MEDIUM: 43–53 cm, 13–23 kg
STANDARD: 53–63 cm, 23–30 kg
COAT QUALITY
The coat of the Australian Labradoodle is either wool or fleece, and it can be curly, wavy or straight. The breed is undercoatless, meaning the coat has only one layer. For this reason, the hair does not come off much except when brushing. Puppy hair changes to adult hair at the age of 8–12 months.

A LOT OF COLORS
All colors except merle are allowed for the Australian Labradoodle. Allowed colors are apricot, cream, red, black, brown, white and silver. Two-coloring (parti) is also accepted.
INTELLIGENT AND EASY TO TRAIN
The Australian Labradoodle is relatively easy to train, as it usually likes both treats and toys. You can do almost anything with ALD! ALDs are especially good at rallytoko, nosework and agility, and learn countless tricks! Positive, dog-oriented training methods suitable for the Australian Labradoodle, no punishments needed!
DOG FOR A FAMILY WITH ALLERGIES?
Although all dogs can of course cause allergies, ALD's coat is often well tolerated by allergy and asthma sufferers.
CHILD-FRIENDLY FAMILY DOG
Australian Labradoodles are generally very fond of people and get along well with children. ALDs are happy when they get to participate in family activities both inside and outside. Many ALDs sail with their owners, and they are also keen forest hikers, playmates and joggers.
