Löfkulla ALD

Löfkulla ALD is a small home based breeder of miniature Australian Labradoodles in Finland. I only breed one or two litters a year.

The Australian Labradoodle

Australian labradoodles are cheerful, playful and active dogs. They are relatively easy to train, and training is highly recommended. They have a lovely nature and are gentle with children and all kind of animals. The Australian labradoodle has a non-shedding, allergy friendly coat.

Original Breeds

The Australian Labradoodle is not only a mix of Labrador retriever and poodle. Six different breeds have been introduced to the breed for several years. The breeds are Poodle, Labrador retriever, Irish water spaniel, Curly coated retriever, American cocker spaniel and English cocker spaniel.

The Coat

Coats can be wavy or curly fleece or wool. These dogs don’t have an undercoat. They don’t shed hair, but it do loose it, this is old “dead” hair that is replaced by new hair. This old hair has to be removed by brushing or/and combing regulary. Between the ages of 8-12 months all puppy hair is replaced by adult hair. The puppy hair has to be brushed out thoroughly.

Color

The Australian labradoodle can appear in many different colors. Possible colors are white, cream, apricot, red, brown, silver and black. Also party color is accepted.

Puppies

Our puppies grow up with us in our home and are a part of our everyday life.

The next litter is planned in the end of 2019.

All our dogs are tested for HD, ED, patella, PRA, DM, IC and EIC.

When you buy a puppy you get one year of membership to the Finnish Australian labradoodle organization and a booklet how to groom your dog.

The puppies have been checked by a veterinary and got their first vaccination and have been dewormed.

Microchipping.

Puppy tests by an authorized puppy tester.

Our commitment to be a support for the buyer throughout the dogs life.

Sterilization/castration. The ownership will exchange after the sterilization/castration is done on our behalf before the age of 18 months latest (demand of the breeding organization).

All health tests of the parents is available.

About Us

Löfkulla ALD is a small home based breeder of multigenerational miniature Australian labradoodles in Finland.

I only breed one or two litters a year.

We share our home with two dogs, one Australian labradoodle Molly (miniature size) and one Labrador retriever Mickan.

I also have other Australian labradoodles (breeding studs and bitches) but they are living with guardian families because I want them to grow up as normal family dogs.

I have had dogs most of my life, the last 40 years Labrador retrivers but 4 years ago I bought my first Australian labradoodle breeding dog Molly (Doodledogs Broccoli), from Wales, UK.

In the Autum 2016 Luca (Raisdoodles Whisky)(co-owned) came to Finland from UK.

All my dogs have fleece coats, curly or wavy.
